Wrekking a Two Tonner: Instagram favs - Western Veil Nebula (NGC 6960): This brilliant image below of the Western Veil Nebula is provided by the NOAO, 0.9 meter telescope at the Kitt Peak National Observatory and it details the wispy filaments along this 15 light year-long, two light year-wide region of the Cygnus Loop, which is at the far right side of the image I posted yesterday. The bright star, likely in the foreground, is cataloged as 52 Cygnus and is unrelated to the explosion.
