Haven't tweeted for a while so here's a picture of a foliated greywacke with an in-sheared clast of carbonate from Anglesey. The clast was likely incorporated when this rock was subducted beneath North Wales ~550 million years ago. I still find it crazy this stuff is preserved! pic.twitter.com/U6M5kcusHv
